If I move anything even just a little, it shuts down. It wont hold a charge and will not power on due to no battery left. The notebook computer does not turn on When you had it disassembled did you check for any damaged components like swelled caps, burned resistors or didoes? Sorry but my quick search didn't find a manual. Just fan spinning and power light and nothing else. The magic button, not sure which one I keep pressing buttons until it stays on. It checked out fine, and the voltage at the motherboard connector was reading correctly as well. However on some very random occasions the laptop starts working. For some reason, my laptop Toshiba Satellite M300 went dead. Is the power led on the laptop the only light flashing? I can do something like remove and replace a fan, but not sure about these other things.
How can I take its backup? Just in case try removing memory modules one by one and test the laptop with each memory module in each slot. Turns on by itself , runs for 2 seconds and turns off. The led on the power adapter led is on and the battery is good. Is it the motherboard or more likely the graphics card? Any help would be great! I thought I would post their reply in case anyone else is having similar problems. The voltage output on your new adapter must be exactly the same as on the old one. Can you test the laptop with another adapter? Replace it with a new one.
